Fun little game! At the beginning of a round, I felt like no matter what I picked I was punished severely. It's like it would take things away in addition to the choice penalty. Otherwise, I like it. As someone else said, you should keep going with it.
I found the control scheme to be pretty confusing - to the point that I couldn't get through the first level.
Maybe set a specific control scheme that fits well and force players to use that instead? I wanted to use R-shift for jump and A/D to move. When it came time to shoot, none of the fire keys were very convenient.
Both of the implemented control schemes (arrows scheme and WASD scheme) are working perfect for me. I never heard of using right Shift for jumping before. Up arrow - yes. W - yes. Space - of course. But never R-shift.
